ATV Help and Safety Tips

When it comes to off-roading, safety is very important. To avoid unnecessary risks and dangers, we ask that you “Stay the Trail” and DO NOT veer off designated paths.

Other tips include:

  • Wear a helmet, padded clothing, and gloves
  • Bring a tow rope and a small shovel
  • Pack extra water and supplies
  • Bring printed trail maps and/or download the Avenza map as wifi coverage tends to drop off

If you get stuck, remember the phrase “We Recover the Rockies.” Our friends at Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery, a 24-hour, nonprofit backcountry rescue and recovery team,  can help you. Visit www.CO4X4RNR.org  or text/call 720-722-1204.
