Georgetown Colorado Trick or Treat Parade

Trick or Treat Parade in Georgetown

Enjoy a fun filled Halloween in Georgetown, Colorado. Step into the Historic District and enjoy a Halloween Parade along Sixth Street for the Georgetown Community School’s Trick or Treat with Pre-K and Toodlers starting the parade at 10:30am followed by K-6 at 1:30PM.

This event is for all in Georgetown, businesses to families are all welcome!

Hotel de Paris Museum Tours

Hotel de Paris Museum™ is the most unique and complete parcel of early Colorado history in the state. Knowledgeable docents share culinary history and reveal why Louis Dupuy (the best cook in the Colorado Territory) was called the Mysterious Frenchman, the Hotel Prince, French Louie, the Oddest Host in America, and the Father of Domestic Science in America.

Tours originate in our museum shop and begin at the top of the hour, 10am-3pm. Allow 45 minutes. ADA accessible. Photography allowed.

Idaho Springs Trunk or Treat

Miner Street Market is Hosting a Trunk or Treat!

Children from Carlson Elementary will parade in costume down Miner Street at 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome to trick or treat along Miner Street Businesses, candy stations, and sponsored trucks from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. At 4:00pm visit Citizen’s Park at 13th and Miner Street for Magic Rob’s Magic Show.

Come on out and bring the family for an afternoon of fun on Miner Street in Historic Downtown Idaho Springs! This event is open to all children.

Enjoy a spook-tacular tour of the Phoenix Gold Mine with Special tours on Halloween on the hour every hour from 10am until 5pm – Halloween fun for the whole family!

Watch out for pumpkins, skeletons, and jack-o-lanterns oh my!!

11/4: Pumpkin Smash in Idaho Springs

Join the Clear Creek Rec Center for the Annual Pumpkin Smash ~ Includes FREE entry and FREE activities! Keep your pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns from ending up in a landfill, while having fun and making memories! All pumpkins smashed at the event will be taken to a commercial compositing site and stopped from becoming trash!

Choose from activities such as: Axe Throwing (Hosted by Throw2Go), Smash Center, Slingshots, Pumpkin Piñatas, Obstacle Course, Pumpkin Hole, and Chicken Poo Bingo (with Prizes!)

When you are ready for a break from all the fun, you can warm up around the fire pits, with a Pumpkin Beer from Tommyknockers Brewery or spiced cider crafted by The Spice & Tea Exchange! There will also be plenty of food choices!
