The Roundabout Bus Public Transportation

The Clear Creek County Roundabout Bus (Formerly known as the Prospector) is a public transportation service offering a FREE means of travel within county limits. The Roundabout Bus provides the opportunity to spend your day visiting other towns within the County or connect to Bustang®. The Roundabout Bus serves the communities of Silver Plume, Georgetown, Empire, Lawson, Dumont and Idaho Springs. Hop on the RoundAbout Bus and we’ll get you where you need to go!

As a function of Clear Creek County government, Clear Creek Country Public Transit is making a concerted effort to suppress the spreading of COVID-19 while continuing to odder a critical community service. Until further notice, the following policies apply to Public Transportation:

  • Face masks or coverings are mandatory. Children under age 11 and people who have a medical or behavioral condition or disability are exempt from this mandate.*
  • Riders should practice “social distancing” and spread out on the bus when possible.
  • Riders should limit their travel to essential trips if possible.

Two wheelchair-accessible spots also available. The Roundabout Bus does not typically run on County holidays.
