Come celebrate the heart of summer with mountain music along beautiful Clear Creek in historic Idaho Springs, CO, the gateway to rockies. If you love acoustic music, cold beer, a laidback festival environment, then you won’t want to miss this.

  • 2 DAY EVENT PASSES (INCLUDES ACCESS TO FRIDAY & SATURDAY) $35 ($40 AFTER 5/31) (17 & under FREE)
  • FRIDAY ONLY - $15 ($20 AFTER 5/31) (17 & under FREE)
  • SATURDAY ONLY - $25 ($30 AFTER 5/31) (17 & under FREE)
  • VIP ACCESS - $125 ($150 AFTER 5/31) per person (includes 2 nights of camping, free onsite parking, reserved seating under tents, meet and greet with the bands , branded event cup, event shirt, and food and drink service to your seats)

2024 Annual Georgetown Bighorn Sheep Festival is November 9th ~ This free festival always takes place the 2nd Saturday in November.

Join the Historic Town of Georgetown and Colorado Parks & Wildlife for the Annual Georgetown Bighorn Sheep Festival from @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

There will be children’s activities, crafts, music, wildlife programs, hikes, tours and so much more!

Be sure to stop by the Bighorn Sheep Viewing Station at the Georgetown Gateway Visitor Center as trained volunteers with binoculars and spotting scopes help viewers locate the head-banging sheep and offer a brief lesson on the animals!

Bighorns may be noticed from the highway, but, for the safety of both people and wildlife, please view sheep from the Georgetown Gateway Visitor Center and viewing station.
