    Celebrate National Night Out 2021 at Minton Park in Empire, Colorado. Come out for the evening and meet men and women with Clear Creek County First Responders, Flight for Life, Police and Fire, S.W.A.T team members, as well as Search and Rescue.

    There will be Fire Trucks, Patrol cars, S.W.A.T. vehicle, and Flight for Life's helicopter too! Be sure to stick around for the raffle with great prizes too ~ Fun for the whole family!

    In addition to skating and bumper cars, the ball fields will be open for kite flying, games and just plain old running around!
    The Frozen Fire Rink is a synthetic ice rink made of Glice®️️ that makes a great place to race, to play hockey, to socialize, to practice your skating tricks, or to simply take in the beautiful scenery offered by the surrounding Colorado mountains.

    The Annual Georgetown Bighorn Sheep Festival takes place the Second Saturday of November from @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

    Join the Historic Town of Georgetown and Colorado Parks & Wildlife for the Annual Georgetown Bighorn Sheep Festival!

    This festival always takes place the 2nd Saturday in November and runs from 10 am until 3 pm. There will be children’s activities, crafts, music, wildlife programs, hikes, tours and so much more!

    Be sure to stop by the Bighorn Sheep Viewing Station and the Georgetown Gateway Visitor Center as trained volunteers with binoculars and spotting scopes help viewers locate the head-banging sheep and offer a brief lesson on the animals!

    To visit the viewing station, take I-70 west from Denver to the Georgetown exit (#288). Turn left on Alvarado Road and follow the brown and white binocular signs until you reach the viewing station near Georgetown lake. Bighorns may be noticed from the highway, but, for the safety of both people and wildlife, please view sheep from the viewing station.
