Full Moon Hike

Time

6:00 PM TO 8:00 PM

Location

St Marys Dr, Idaho Springs

Details

Enjoy a Full Moon hike up to St. Mary’s Glacier (3/4 mile to the top – 1.5 miles round trip) to watch the FULL MOON rise over Yankee Hill. Meet at the trail head at 6:00pm for the FREE hike. Dogs are welcome on a leash.  The group will hike up at dusk and back down by moonlight (or flashlight).

Be prepared for rocky and possibly snowy conditions on the trail. Parking is available in private lots near the trail head for $5. BRING EXACT CHANGE. It’s a self-pay station with an envelope that you’ll need to fill out – so please allow extra time to deal with that. Dress warm ~ It’s always colder at the glacier, so plan accordingly. (This event is weather-dependent. If the sky is cloudy, the hike will likely be cancelled.)
