Join Loveland Ski on Easter Sunday for a Spring Skiing Giant Easter Egg Hunt! Gather at the Basin area for first chair at 8:30am and keep your eyes peeled for the giant hidden Easter Eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sport Shop, and wander the base area. Huge eggs mean huge prizes such as skis, snowboards, and tons of other awesome goodies. There are a limited number of these giant Easter Eggs hidden around the Basin on the slopes and only one can be claimed per person. There will also be thousands of small eggs for the little ones to collect around the base area.

All skill levels welcome. Acoustic instruments and a listening ear. First pint is on the house at Westbound & Down.

Experience the spirit and traditions of Celtic culture aboard the Georgetown Loop Railroad. Guests are encouraged to dress in Celtic-inspired attire and enjoy a festive mountain ride celebrating this rich heritage. Each reservation will receive a custom 2026 Celtic Fest Faro Chip. Rolling start after Parade down main street begins at Citizens Park, heading east turning north up 17th Ave, across Colorado Blvd up Virginia Canyon on the dirt road that features a 12% grade/climb, switch back down following flour arrows to old miners driveway at the open gate, up and over, down and winding around down Rose Gulch, over logs, under trees, coming out over the Argo Mill, heading back west on Riverside turning right at 23rd, left on Virginia Street toward the back of the Elks Lodge with a sharp left on 16th to the finish.

Step back into the days of the Old West! Meet Wild West reenactors, witness a lively train robbery, and try your luck at a Faro game in the saloon. Guests will receive a custom 2026 Wild West Days Faro Chip as part of this action-packed experience.

Experience the Georgetown Loop Railroad after hours aboard our new Evening Trains, designed especially for adults seeking a relaxed, date-night-style adventure. Departing Silver Plume at 6:30 PM, the train features scenic photo stops, a 30-45 minute stop at Devil’s Gate with music and activities, and a return by approximately 8:15 PM. Parlor Service guests who reserve at least one week in advance will receive a light meal; later Parlor reservations include a snack box. Coach Service is available without food service. The weekend plan you didn’t know you were missing – Evening Trains offer a unique after-hours atmosphere that’s completely distinct from daytime rides. Advanced reservations recommended.

Picture an abundance of freebies, locally crafted beer, post race pampering, and entertainment to celebrate your achievement!

The course is a thrilling mix of dirt and paved roads, guiding participants through enchanting wetlands, natural waterfalls, breathtaking views of the Continental Divide, and remnants of historic mining sites.

Slacker Half Marathon & Relay
The Slacker Half Marathon is a local favorite, offering a fast, scenic course that winds through Clear Creek County’s mountain communities. Runners can choose from three options: the classic half marathon, a relay half marathon for teams, or a 4-mile run for a shorter but equally rewarding experience.

Known for its gradual downhill route and high-energy atmosphere, this event welcomes participants of all levels from seasoned runners chasing a PR to those simply looking to enjoy the views and be part of a memorable race day.

The race will kick off for most at Loveland Ski area. Thank you Clear Creek Rotary for helping with parking! That being said, please arrive early as traffic jams will casue delays and issues with start times whether you're driving, getting dropped off, or taking the shuttle.
