About this event
The Georgetown Heritage Center & Cultural Arts Program is pleased to present the Annual Plein Air event in vintage, picturesque Georgetown on July 25th and 26th, 2025. A charming town of colorful Victorian buildings ringed by mountain views, Georgetown has long been a favorite of artists. Join us for this painting event in the summer mountain air!
Artists from Colorado and beyond participate in this two-day outdoor event
All artwork from July 25th and 26th must be ready for submission by 3:30pm for judging - Opening reception from 5pm - 8pm to follow.
The artwork will be on display, for sale, and open to the pubic daily 10am - 4pm July 27th through August 10th at the Old School - 809 Taos Street, Georgetown Colorado
All art lovers welcome!
Artists may paint at a location of their choice within the following defined areas:
Town of Georgetown, Colorado
Georgetown Lake
Georgetown Loop Railroad (along the route or train stations)
Town of Silver Plume, Colorado
Guanella Pass Road to Mount Bierstadt
